We are responsible for processing the personal data collected through this website.
2. What data we collect
a) Data you give us
When you fill in a form on the site (quote request, message, newsletter sign-up or event registration), we receive:
- first and last name;
- email address;
- phone number (where asked for or given);
- company (optional);
- the content of your message or note;
- for a quote request — details about the property (type, roof, approximate electricity bill, interest in a battery or EV charger);
- for an event registration — the number of guests.
b) Data collected automatically
- IP address — used briefly (up to 10 minutes) to limit repeated attempts and protect against spam;
- technical data (browser type, device, pages visited) in the hosting provider’s server logs, kept for a limited time for security.
The site does not use analytics, tracking or advertising tools.
3. Why we process data
- to answer enquiries and prepare quotes;
- to organise events — confirming registrations and sending invitations and event information;
- to send our newsletter — only if you subscribed;
- to keep the site secure and prevent abuse.
We do not sell or share personal data with third parties for marketing.
4. Legal basis (GDPR)
- Steps prior to entering a contract (Art. 6(1)(b)) — quote requests;
- Legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)) — replying to messages, organising events, site security;
- Consent (Art. 6(1)(a)) — newsletter. You can withdraw it at any time.
5. How long we keep data
We keep personal data only as long as needed for its purpose or as required by law. Event registrations are kept until the event and related communication are over. Newsletter subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe.
6. Who can access data
- our hosting provider, which stores the website and email;
- competent authorities, where the law requires it.
7. Third-party services and transfers outside the EU
To display the site, your browser also connects to:
- Google Maps — the map on the Contact page and links to our location. The map only loads if you accept cookies or press „Show the map“ — Google may then set its own cookies;
- Cloudflare Turnstile — only if the extra bot check on forms is switched on.
These providers receive your IP address and may process data outside the EU under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework. See their privacy policies for details.
8. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, correct or delete your data, restrict or object to processing, receive your data in a portable format, and withdraw consent at any time.
To use these rights, write to office@sol-service.com. You can also complain to the Bulgarian Commission for Personal Data Protection (www.cpdp.bg).
9. Security
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures: an encrypted connection (HTTPS), restricted access to the site’s administration and anti-abuse checks on forms. No system is completely secure, however.

The site links to other websites (for example our partners’). We are not responsible for their privacy policies.
Cookie policy
What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files a website stores on your device so it works properly and remembers your settings.
What this site uses
- sol_lang (cookie, 1 year) — remembers your language (Bulgarian or English). Needed for the site to work;
- sol_consent (cookie, 6 months) — remembers your choice in the cookie panel („Accept all“ or „Only necessary“);
- sol-theme (browser storage, not a cookie) — remembers whether you chose light or dark mode;
- WordPress login cookies — only for staff who manage the site; never set for visitors.
The site does not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. If we add any in the future, we will ask for your consent first and update this policy.
Third-party cookies
Google may set its own cookies when the map on the Contact page loads (it only loads with your consent), and Cloudflare during the extra bot check (if switched on). These are managed by those companies.
Managing cookies
You can change your choice at any time with „Cookie settings“ at the bottom of the site. You can also delete or block cookies in your browser settings. If you block the language cookie, the site is shown in your browser’s language.
